Micran is active in the following sphere of microwave electronics:
1. Microwave elements: microwave solid-state elements and components (monolithic microwave integrated circuits on GaAs);
2. Microwave electronics: microwave modular blocks and complex systems — multifunctional microwave modules, Active Electronically
Scanned Array (AESA) modules, high-resolution radars;
3. Telecommunication equipment in frequency range of 150 MHz — 90 GHz: radio-relay equipment, broadband wireless, mobile

1. Wireless communications
|
|
|
One of the soaring industries, telecommunication currently
forms the largest share in Micran’s production. Micran offers a wide range of solutions for telecommunication networks
to telecom operators, service providers, fuel and energy complex enterprises, railway and river transport companies,
federal executive authorities, integrators.
Research and Production Company “Micran” develops and manufactures
a full range of telecommunication equipment allowing to build wireless traffic networks from backhaul to the “last mile”, united by a common
control and monitoring system.
Micran’s digital radio relay stations of “MIC-RL” line operates in
frequency range of 150 MHz to 40 GHz allowing PDH, SDH, and Ethernet traffic transfer at up to 155 Mbit/s.
Wireless broadband access equipment of WiMIC line developed
in compliance with IEEE802.16-2004 Standard (fixed WiMAX) operates in frequency ranges of 5 and 6 GHz allowing to
effectively organize multiservice fixed wireless multiuser communications nets.

As of July 2010 there are more than 6 000 radio relay

In 2009, the company has mastered serial production of mobile
communication systems “MIK-MKS” and “MIK-MKS-M” (MIK-MKS minor) that are created using the latest advances in microwave communications,
computing, design and technological solutions, the elemental base. The “MIK-MKS” mobile communication system is a radio relay stations
system intended for rapid deployment of radio relay links and broad¬band wireless networks capable to operate both in standard and
severe climatic conditions and provide high ECM resistance and provide reliable and high quality connection, officials at various levels, units
and control points.
Mobile communication systems “MIK-MKS” was presented at International
Defense Exhibition in July, 2010, in Zhukovskiy, Russia. Experts and specialists got acquainted with specifications and capabilities of “MIK-MKS”
and highly appreciated it credited as a highlight of the Exhibition.

2. Microwave test and measurement equipment
|
|
|
|
In the field of Microwave Test and Measurement Equipment “Micran”
Company has developed and put to production the most massively required microwave radio-measuring
instruments in frequency range up to 60 GHz. These are vector and scalar network analyzers, spectrum
analyzers, testers and signal sources. “Micran” succeeded in establishing itself as a leader among national
manufacturers on this part of national market.
Test and measurement equipment
produced by “Micran” is on a level with the best global accomplishments regarding the criteria
of overall technical level (measuring accuracy, reliability, ergonomic properties). It is also
better suited for national market requirements.

For several years our Company successfully provides radioelectronics
enterprises with precision microwave accessories for all stages of designing, developing and operational service of microwave
instrumentation. Coaxial connectors designed by “Micran” and highest quality of source materials and coating guarantee up to 5 000 connectdisconnect
cycles with specifications maintained, providing minimal effect of microwave accessories on the developing device performance.

3. Radar equipment
|
|
|
|
|
The modern navigational radar station
with high range resolution - “Reka” - has been developed and is now undergoing tests. The pilot
series of radar stations are in the operational tests with inlandnavigation vessels.
Though “Reka” is intended for river fleet,
it’s modules could be also used to upgrade or modernize certain sea civillian radars.
Our specialists developed a coastal radar
broadband complex for sea borders security, allowing to collect data from thousands of kilometers
of coastline to one information center.
Micran’s set of AESA transceivers has successfully
passed flight tests as an integral part of MiG-35 fighter radar station.

4. Security system control equipment
|
|
|
|
|
Due to increasing demand for information security instrumentation,
“Micran” is expanding into development and manufacturing the security
systems control equipment. The company is licensed to develop and
manufacture products for information security.
In 2011 there were some new products introduced, such as frame test
antennas and active EM-field probes.

5. Microwave electronics
|
|
|
|
“Micran” Company has many years of experience in MMIC design and production. We also produce monofunctional
and multifunctional microwave modules in monolithic and hybrid forms. Today a great amount of actions is being
undertaken by “Micran” to create a process reserve that shall provide MMIC mass production by our
Company to meet the needs of different enterprises. A pilot production line equipped with hi-tec modern hardware
has been created to master the p-HEMT transistors-based MMIC production with layout rule of 0.35 - 0.50 mkm.
This line’s starting productive capacity is more than 150 wafers of 100 mm diameter per month.

In 2006 two enterprises were established by “Micran” that are residents to Tomsk Special Economic Zone.
Currently the company is building an electronic equipment plant in the city of Tomsk. The increase in production area will increase
the production capabilities by 3-5 times.
In recent years international relations of the company are expanding. Investors and system integrators are showing great interest in the
company products.
